Lindbergh Museum Intern
Project Summary
The intern will work on the front line as well as in our behind-the-scenes work. In addition they will choose and complete a research project.

- Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills; ability to effectively deliver verbal information
- Ability to listen to the public and be responsive to inquiries and comments
- Ability to master program information and present it according to interpretive or learning objectives
- Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions
- Ability to learn how to develop digital programming
- Knowledge of Minnesota history and ability to learn about Charles A. Lindbergh and site-related history
- Shadow the site manager of the Lindbergh Historic Site
- Learn interpretation skills
- Conduct historical research
- Interact with the public in a public setting
- Serve diverse audiences interacting with the museum
- Participate in the development and implementation of on-site and online programs
- The breadth and depth of work associated with the field of public history
- Research and program development skills
- Public communication/interpretation skills
